Director and Founder
Known throughout the field as Antonia Drew Vann, Antonia Norton's expertise spans 3 plus decades as a local and national advocate to influence policy change to urge culturally specific victim service delivery. She, is a historian, trainer and educator/trainer on cultural competency with African American populations at the intersection of historical trauma, oppression, and incarceration. She earned her bachelor's degree and master's degree in Education. She serves as grant & program developer and trainer. She works to build collaborations, educates rising advocates and continues to work directly with victims from the community as well as those in WI prisons.
Director of CVI & Ujima Men's Program
Brother Shawn is a staunch victim advocate and protector. Shawn resigned from Asha in 2022 after serving 16 years as Associate Director. Thankfully he now returns in 2025 to manages the day to day operations of the men's services and community violence intervention (CVI) operations. A Desert Storm veteran, Shawn leads The Ujima Mens Program, the SOS project "Saving Our Sisters" / "Saving Our Selves" to end violence against women at the community level and the soon to launch Umoja Dock. He works directly with men in Prisons and serves as the agency's community liaison and Ambassador. Shawn is a proud husband, girl-dad and community leader and activist.
Office Manager
Ms. Betty is a victim advocate who manages and supports the daily office flow. She responds to crisis and other callers and assures client/office supplies is maintained. She provides client intakes, advocacy, and scheduling.
Abuse in Later Life Advocate
Roshundra Muhammad is a victim advocate who specializes in advocating for aging survivors who may be dealing with domestic and intimate partner violence. She is a wife, mother, and caregiver who uses her knowledge and skills to serve her clients.
Housing Assistance Coordinator
Yetta Armstrong is high energy! She is a specialized victim advocate whose goal is to assist survivors in financial planning and economic empowerment. Yetta is Asha's "guru" working in concert with survivors in accessing safe and affordable housing. She is a licensed Real Estate agent who builds and maintains housing relationships in Milwaukee's housing ecosystem.
Lead Advocate/Case Manager
Kalon Fleming is a Victim Advocate and case manager. Kalon brings the reflection of “empowered” to Team Asha. Kalon earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and is a proud mother of 3 with a passion to serve the community.
Domestic Violence Victim Advocate
Crystal provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and conducts our anger management and parenting classes.
Supervisor of Victim Service
Rosalind provides personalized services to women affected by sexual abuse and human sex trafficking.
Domestic Violence Victim Advocate
Hadiyah is a victim advocate support specialist who provides direct support to the team of advocates working with survivors.
