Asha Director and Founder
Known throughout the field as Antonia Drew Vann, Antonia Norton's expertise spans 3 plus decades as a local and national advocate to influence policy change to urge culturally specific victim service delivery. She, is a historian and an educator/trainer on cultural competency with African American populations at the intersection of historical trauma, oppression, and incarceration. She serves as program developer and trainer. She works to build collaborations, educates rising advocates and continues to work directly with victims from the community as well as those in WI prisons.
Associate Director
Shawn manages the day-to-day operations, supervising agency personnel, leads the Asha Project Men's Services Programs, while working with men in Prisons and acting as the agency's community liaison.
Office Manager
Ms. Betty manages the office flow, supplies, client intakes, advocacy, and scheduling.
Abuse in Later Life Advocate
Roshundra Muhammad specializes in advocating for aging clients who may be dealing with domestic and family violence. She is a wife, mother, and caregiver who uses her knowledge to serve her clients.
Housing
Project Administrator
Cheryl Komano is an Advocate in leadership who currently serves as the Housing Project Administrator at Asha overseeing the operations of Asha’s Transitional and Rapid Rehousing program for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking. Cheryl is an Alverno College graduate and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public policy. Cheryl is a wife, mother and proud grandmother who has dedicated herself to executing survivor centered trauma informed practices and policies that facilitate healing and movement toward liberation for survivors.
Domestic Violence Housing Advocate
Yetta's goal is to assist survivors in accessing safe and affordable housing.
Case Manager
Kalon Fleming is an Advocate and case manager in Asha’s Housing and survivor services. Kalon brings the reflection of “empowered” to Team Asha. Kalon grew up in Muskegon, Michigan prior to her relocation to Milwaukee in 2023. She earns her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University in 2024 and is a proud mother of 3 with a passion to serve the community.

Crystal provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and conducts our anger management and parenting classes.

Hadiyah represents The Asha Project through Children’s Hospital by referring clients to domestic violence services in the City of Milwaukee.
